CC- July 7, 2009 - Good Bile Production

_____________________________________________________________________

Complete Session Outline

1. The liver should produce 1-2 quarts of bile per day. This is how important bile is to your digestive health.

a. Bile is the laxative agent in intestinal movement

2. Bile helps to digest:

a. Proteins (by emulsifying the oils that are usually bound with the proteins)

b. Fats & oils and the recycling of oil soluble vitamins like A, D, & E

c. Starches (by emulsifying added fats & oils so they interfere less with starch/sugar metabolism)

d. Cholesterol-based steroidal hormones being recycled by the liver (progesterone, estrogen, testosterone, cortisol, etc.)

3. Bile helps the liver purify the blood of:

a. Parasites

b. Heavy metals

c. Viruses & bacteria

d. Chemicals and other toxins

4. Bile helps to dissolve:

a. Liver stones

b. Gallbladder stones

c. Arterial plaque

d. Excess blood cholesterol (by placing a demand on the blood to deliver the cholesterol to the liver to manufacture more bile)

5. Bile helps to lower high blood sugar levels:

a. Bile is responsible for digesting oils and fats

b. Undigested oils interfere with insulin finding sugar in the blood (a form of insulin-resistance)

c. This is why it is important not to combine fats/oils with sweets, or fats/oils with starches/grains  (which convert to sugar) in your diet

d. High sugar in the blood leads to fungal overgrowth (the body's last resort for lowering sugar levels)

Examples of sugar raising/yeast-promoting food combinations:

1) Oils (nuts, flax seed oil, olive oil, etc.) with fruits, agave, honey or sugar

2) Almond butter on bread or a rice cracker

3) Potatoes/squash with butter or sour cream or cheese

4) Honey/agave/sugar in a salad dressing with olive oil

5) Granola trial mixes (fruits & nuts)

6) Fruits & Nuts Manna Bread (or other kinds of breads made with oils and sweeteners)

7) Apples, bananas (and other fruits) or sweeteners in a veggie drink with flax oil (or other oils) or soy/almond milk (also an oil)

8) Butter on whole grain toast

6. Bile helps to reduce yeast/fungal overgrowth by:

a. Encapsulating/isolating/digesting typical food sources for fungus in the blood & intestinal tract (mucous, chemicals, heavy metals & blood toxins)

b. Helping to reduce sugar in the blood

c. Improving the digestion of food so food no longer turns to rot/poison in the intestinal tract

d. Dissolving the mucoid plaque lining of decades old undigested food in the small intestines

7. Bile helps to reduce body fat due to:

a. Improved digestion & assimilation of food nutrients

b. Reduction of toxins in the body (otherwise stored in fat cells)

c. Reduction of fungal overgrowth (one of the prime causes of large bellies)

d. Emulsification of fat cells (drawing fat & cholesterol back to the liver for bile production)

e. Increasing the alkaline state in the intestines (important for proper digestion of food and the proliferation of probiotics in the gut)

8. Bile and the importance maintaining an alkaline system:

a. Acids cause bile to become thick and sluggish (bile needs to be almost neutral to slightly alkaline to remain fluid)

b. Sluggish bile in the gallbladder fosters yeast/fungus overgrowth (because fungus consumes the toxins encapsulated in the bile, but trapped in the acidic gallbladder)

c. An alkaline system thins the bile allowing for fluid movement of bile from the liver, through the gallbladder and into the small intestines where it works its wonders

9. What is the best way to stimulate the production of bile in your body?

a. Taking bitter herbs & digestive herbs/spices with every meal (Digestive Bitters, Herbal C, Deep Earthen Cleanse)

b. Strengthen spleen function (the spleen manufactures bilirubin, an essential component of bile) (Spleen Builder)

c. Whole earthen mineral sources with naturally-occurring electrolyte content particularly balanced in sodium, potassium, chloride and bicarbonate (the electrolyte makeup of bile)

d. "virtually all the osmotic [flow of fluids through membranes] activity of any bile specimen may be accounted for as the sum of sodium, potassium, chloride and bicarbonate", [the electrolyte fraction]... the changes in bile flow and composition must be attributed to changes in the output and composition of the "electrolyte fraction"". (Electrolyte Excretion in Bile)

e. The flow of bicarbonate ions from rocks weathered by the carbonic acid in rainwater is an important part of the carbon cycle. (Wikipedia)

f. Thus the consumption of Sacred Clay, Mineral Manna, Deep Earthen Cleanse, Friendly Flora or Ancient Mineral Blend (all mineral-rich sources) 20 minutes before a meal help prepare the digestive tract for the needed HCL, pancreatic bicarbonic juices and bile. Moderate amounts of Himalayan or other sea salts with a meal also support improved digestion

10. What is the best way to insure your food is fully digested?

a. Consume with every meal a combination of bitter herbs (for the oils & fats) and digestive herbs & spices (providing or assisting the body to make the 3000+ enzymes manufactured by the body, including the 22 digestive enzymes).

b. Examples include: hawthorn berry (assists in the digestion of meats), alfalfa (contains enzymes for all major food groups), fennel stimulates bile and reduces gas, seaweeds and other herbs contain enzymes which assist in their own digestion and other foods like them, whey contains enzymes, glutathione and probiotics for improved digestion, white oak bark/codonopsis/wood betony/cardamon and other herbs/spices build spleen function, the organ responsible for nutrient assimilation. Numerous other examples of herbs & spices which support digestion exist in the herbal kingdom, many of which are included in Digestive Bitters & Spleen Builder

c. Enzymes are fundamental to the digestion process. Three basic enzyme groups are involved in the break down of basic foods into compounds our bodies can utilize for health and healing: proteolytic enzymes (proteases); lipolytic enzymes (lipases); and amylolytic enzymes (amylases). Proteases break-down the twenty amino acids that compose protein, with each protease targeting a different kind of amino acid. Lipases decompose various fats, including oils, lecithin (phospholipids), and cholesterol (sterols) assisting the function of bile in the intestines. Amylases break down the various sugars such as: sucrose, milk sugar, and fruit sugar.

d. Herbs, naturally-occurring minerals sources and spices provide the enzymes and digestive stimulus needed by the body to manufacture its essential digestive fluids

e. Consume very little fluids during and after a meal so as not to dilute stomach acids, often a contributing factor to acid reflux (along with fungal overgrowth, which is the primary cause)

f. Best to take herbal formulas before or during a meal, but if forgotten, take them after the meal with as little fluid as necessary so as to preserve the concentration of digestive juices in the stomach

g. Adhere to proper food combining practices to improve your body's digestive power with each meal: OK, So What Foods CAN I Eat?

Our New Website is in Process

Our website has been experiencing difficulty since a recent server upgrade by our host company. We are currently building a new site and changing host companies. This will take several more days.

If you are unable to go to a new page try clicking on the back arrow first, sometimes this will load the page.

When checking out with an order, the website has been slow. Please click "Confirm Order" only once, then wait a minute to let the process complete itself. Double clicks will result in two orders (which can be cancelled later) and may hold more funds back in your account than desired.

If you experience difficulty completing an order please call the office at 888-325-1475 toll free 10AM to 4PM M-F Pacific Time or send us an email with your order, shipping destination, and phone number. We will contact you to verify the information and complete the order. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Soon you will see a new appearance to our site (and one that is built in a way that it will be much easier to navigate – something I am sure everyone will appreciate). Thank you for your patience and understanding!

The truth is, not a single product, natural or otherwise (including every one mentioned on this site) is capable of healing the human body. Neither an herb, a clay, a vitamin or mineral supplement, a seaweed or algae, an organic food, nor any other substance is capable of healing the body. In every instance the body will take the nutrition given it, break it down into millions of pieces, combine it with other components already available within the body to make new compounds, then deliver those newly formed metabolic compounds to the places that it knows it needs to go - all according to its own wisdom! In this manner the body creates its own medicines, which are nothing more than its normal complement of amino acids, proteins, enzymes, hormones and a vast number of other natural chemical processes.

Our job is not to target diseases or micromanage specific chemical reactions or hormone levels. Our job is simply to nourish the body with a complete spectrum of the kinds of foods that it will recognize as "real food". Real food is that which is compatible with the organic nature of the body's original construction. The human body is a natural organism. It was created from the "dust (or clay) of the earth". Therefore, the perfect food for the body will also be of earthen origin - unaltered. Earthen resources that qualify as real food include such things as clay, water, algae, seaweeds, herbs, fruits, nuts, seeds, and vegetables. Anything less than whole would not be a "real food". This includes "natural" vitamin and mineral supplements assembled by a laboratory rather than by Nature.

Our job is not to try to improve on Nature with our so-called "science", our job is merely to provide the body with an abundance of real food and let the body decide what to do with it. Earthen resources contain a vast array of nutrient-based building blocks for the body to select from in order to construct its own medicine. It is also our job not to toxify the body with foods that are not real or compatible with the body, and to detoxify all that is foreign and poisonous. In this manner, the body will have the greatest freedom to select from the vast array of resources that we provide in order to simply clean house and build life-giving strength. Again, this entire process is performed, not by our manipulation of chemical reactions, but through our support of the body's own inherent wisdom.
