Anti-radiation Super Nourishing Casserole #1
1 c. brown basmati rice
1½ c. water
½ c. red lentils
1 Teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 Tablespoon each:
Nori flakes
Sea Lettuce
Gigartina Sprinkles
Or any combination of dried seaweed
Add all ingredients to a rice cooker or pot & simmer until soft. I use a Vita-Clay rice cooker, so I use less water. Add more water if necessary.
Anti-radiation Super Nourishing Casserole #2
2 cups water
2 cups chopped wild mushrooms (shiitake, portabello, morels, chanterelles, etc.)
1 bunch organic asparagus, chopped into ½ inch pieces
1 medium onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1 Tablespoon Earth & Sea Greens
Pepper to taste (red or black)
1 Tablespoon each:
Nori flakes
Sea Lettuce
Gigartina Sprinkles
Or any combination of dried seaweed
In a large skillet, add water, salt & seaweed. Simmer to distribute flavor (about 2 minutes). Add chopped mushrooms, asparagus, onion & garlic. Simmer until soft.
Add rice to vegetable/mushroom mixture. Mix together.
Sprinkle with Earth & Sea Greens, additional seasonings & more seaweed if desired.
