Part 1-2. Two Primary Causes Behind Food and Pollen Sensitivity — Mast Cell Hyper-reactivity and Histamine Dysregulation
Mast cells are not just passive bombs — they can become chronically sensitized and trigger-happy through metabolic stress, toxicant exposure, cell phone radiation, gut dysbiosis, and even blood sugar swings.
The solution is straightforward: Improve the diet and reduce toxin loads on the body. Food and pollen sensitivities then disappear, once the body has recovered from the damage. This requires a basic rejuvenation protocol which will be discussed once the basics are understood -- including one that costs nothing but time.
High-glucose environments augment IgE-induced (immunoglobulin E) mast cell activation (excessive release of histamines from dysregulated Mast Cells designed to signal for help from the rest of the immune system, resulting in immune system overwhelm). (Frontiers in Immunology, 2012)
Advanced glycation end-products (AGEs) from high-sugar diets directly activate mast cells and cause histamine release. (Dr. Becky Campbell, 2020)
The implication: Blood sugar stabilization is central to restoring an effective immune response throughout the body. A more conscious diet adhering to wise food combining rules, along with natural blood sugar herbal support, can assist in a stabilization of metabolic glucose storage and usage. BloodSugar Balance
Part 1-3. Histamine Clearance Failure which Aggravates Allergic Response
Two enzymes are known to clear histamines from the body: diamine oxidase (DAO), which breaks down histamine from food in the gut, and histamine N-methyltransferase (HNMT), which clears histamine produced inside cells throughout the body.
When DAO activity is low — due to genetic variants, gut inflammation, leaky gut, dysbiosis (digestive imbalances of many kinds), cell phone usage, alcohol, or certain medications — dietary histamine accumulates systemically and amplifies the pollen/food-triggered histamine load into a cascade that overwhelms the body. (International Journal of Molecular Sciences, 2025)
Genetic variants in HNMT are independently linked to higher rates of atopic disease (an exaggerated IgE-induced (immunoglobulin E) mast cell activation to common pollen, food, etc.) (Genetic Lifehacks, 2026)
Keep in mind that gene dysfunction is most commonly caused by toxins from the environment, food, medical treatment, dietary choices, and of course, toxins passed down from parents to child going back multiple generations.
Life traumas, perceptual choices and emotional responses like fear, greed, hatred, elitism, narcissism, victimhood, etc., also play roles in gene health, immune system activity, and the vibrancy of the blood itself (most enhanced positively by love, joy, and kindness!).
NAD+ and NAMPT — Central to Longevity With Health
The role in the body of NAD+ (youth restoring) and NAMPT (the molecule responsible for NAD+ recycling/renewal indefinitely) is central to restoring and maintaining overall health, a balanced weight, a strong immune system, mental acuity, telemere length, and longevity, especially as we age.
More on this further on, but first it is important to understand the impact of toxins in the gut on promoting food and pollen allergies, which will lead to potential ways to cleanse out the toxins responsible for the overreaction of the immune system resulting in the allergic response and restore balance and harmony within the body.
